"Ah...what are you doing, Chiaki-san?"
A very common question asked of the odd swordswoman, as today was yet another day where she obviously made a mockery of the bushido rules she once stood for. Ayano could only watch as her cousin removed the kimono top from her upper body and clutched the Gobatsu in her palm. So, half dressed with only bandages and a raggedy black tank top covering her modesty, Chiaki grinned broadly at Ayano.
"Chiaki-san? Boo, call me Chi-nee!" Chiaki frowned playfully, "Training," Chiaki stated thusly, staving the scabbard of her sword into the tender dirt, "you see, the trees are thick so it will be work to cut through them, right?"
Desho, Desho? Chiaki grinned proudly, before pulling the long silvery blade from it's scabbard. The blade itself wasn't that exquisite, though the length was almost as tall as she was as it was 5'4" in length itself. Shouldering it now, she tilted her head back at Ayano blankly.
"Are you going to train Hibiki? I'm sure he'll enjoy the use," Chiaki smiled light heartedly questioning the ninja behind her, "weapons like it when you use them you know."
Ayano sighed slumping her chin onto her palm as she sat in the shade of a tree. Chiaki was stating odd things again, this time she was talking as if she could speak to weapons. Ayano could understand if Chiaki felt that connection with her sword, as most swordsmen felt that their swords were representations of their souls, but of all things she was also talking about the shuriken she's never even touched.
"No, no," Ayano waved her hand with a weak sigh, "I'm fine with just watching, I suppose. Treat Gobatsu to the training."
Chiaki frowned a little again before perking back up, replying with a quick "ok!" she turned to a nearby tree. Taking an obviously self-taught stance, Chiaki drug her bare foot across the forest floor before cutting slanted through the tree trunk.
"Aya-chan! You'd better move! It's going to fall on you!" Chiaki casually walked around to the other side as the tree began to slide to a fall, while the tree was relatively young it's length was extensive and it smashed in the ground at the exact moment Ayano darted away from her spot.
"A-are you trying to kill me?" Ayano gasped scrambling to Chiaki's ankles, "what if that hit me?"
Chiaki scratched her head, frowning slightly once more.
"I knew what I was doing," She gave the thumbs up, "I would've cut it in half if you didn't move fast enough."
Somehow, that's not nearly as reassuring as I wanted it to be, Ayano felt her eyes narrow, but stayed still as she was still in shock.
"Which one next?"
"None, let's go home..."
"What? I've only done one!"
"I'm tired already."
"You only did a little jogging!"
"Chiii-neeee...."
